In 1990 I met my wife to be Natasha Zimmermann. The first years we only met on weekends and during holidays. Eventually in the year 2002 we had our civil 'wedding' and in 2003 the wedding combined with our son Luca's christening. After my apprenticeship at a bank in Liechtenstein, I worked at a trust company for some years. During that time Natasha and I went for a trip to Indonesia and Australia for 4 months. In 1995 I left this company and we went for our second big trip to the southern part of Africa for half a year. After that in October 1996 I started the HWV in St. Gallen which I finished in 1999. My first job after the HWV was with ABB Gebaeudetechnik/ ABB Installationen AG in Volketswil. (New name: ETAVIS AG) This was also the reason for Natasha and I to move together into a nice flat in Schwerzenbach. It was a nice and cozy place with good access to public transport and many facilities close by. 2001 I changed jobs and worked for the
holding company of the Klosterfrau Group in Zurich. The following links can
give you an impression of this concern: In May 2005 the great journey was over. The year went slowly as we did so many different things and we were also happy to come back to Switzerland. We stayed with Daniel my good friend in Chur. From there I was looking for a new job. In August 2005 I accepted a temporary job with Melisana AG (a company of Klosterfrau Group). They then offered me a job as the head of the finance department with controlling-, IT-, logistics and various project functions. I accepted, as my heart was still beating the Kloserfrau-rhythm. In the beginning I was responsible primarily for the bookkeepings of the Melisana AG and of the Biokosma AG. At that time the Biokosma AG was producing all the Biokosma- and the DUL-X products in Ebnat-Kappel. Later there were projects such as finding new partners for warehouse/logistics/packaging and for new manufacturers for various products. My job was from the first contact, over contracting to implementation as a project leader. An other interesting project was the acquisition of some new products including the due diligence, contracting and also the implementation. It is mainly the various projects that kept me interested, used my skills and expanded my knowledge. In 2013 I celebrated my 10 year affiliation to Klosterfrau :-) Unfortunately the perspective Melisana could give me was not the future I was looking for in the upcoming 20 years of work. So it was time to move on ... The change of jobs was a moment that I wanted to use also for myself and for my family. Natasha and I decided to take this opportunity to go travelling with the WHOLE family for a couple of months :-) 2015 I started also with my new job as a Clinical Manager at the Department of Dermatology at Zurich University Hospital :-) |
